Job Description: Assistant Care Manager
We are looking to add to the management team in charge of our Care services through the appointment of a senior manager with proven experience. You will be leading teams of enthusiastic colleagues who provide high quality Care and Housing services to older people. This will involve the management of high quality Care and Housing services in our Housing with Care, Very Sheltered and Day Care services.
Hanover Scotland is a leading provider of older people’s services and has an important strategic role within the sector in Scotland. You will be based in Elgin and will be a key member of our Care ‘Strategic Business Unit’.
Your responsibilities will also include contract management and liaison with the Integrated Health and Social Care Authority, Local Authorities and other agencies. This post’s requirements include the requirement for a degree, or equivalent qualification or comparable level of experience and excellent leadership skills with relevant managerial experience.
Strong communication and ICT skills are also required and you will hold a qualification(s) suitable for registration with the SSSC, or be prepared to obtain this. A current and preferably clean driving licence is also required.
