Job Description: Care Assistant

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standard of person-centred care in tenant’s homes. Therefore, you’ll ideally have experience of working with people in care or supported accommodation environments but, above all, you’ll have first class practical and personal care skills and empathy with the people receiving the service.
You will work between 17.5 and 30 hours a week on a shift pattern as the service operates in the daytime, evenings and weekends. You’ll be primarily based at the above development however you will also provide cover at other developments for service continuity where required.
You’ll also hold SVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care (Qualified) or be willing to achieve to meet the requirements of the SSSC within regulatory timescales (Unqualified). This post requires PVG Scheme membership (adults).
