Job Description: Casual Care Workers

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standard of person-centred care in tenants’ own homes. Therefore, you’ll ideally have experience of working with people in care or supported accommodation environments but, above all, you’ll also have first class practical and personal care skills and empathy with the people receiving the service.
You’ll need to be flexible and willing to provide cover as and when required. The service operates during the daytime, evenings and weekends and you’ll be covering staff holidays and absence.
You will be a capable administrator with good IT skills and
• SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is desirable. Following the opening of the SSSC registration in September 2017, you will be required to register within 6 months of commencing employment in the post.
• However, if you do not hold the desired qualification of SVQ2, we are committed to supporting you and you must obtain this qualification within 12 months from commencing employment in the post.
This post requires PVG Scheme membership (adults).
