Job Description: Casual Development Manager
As a leading not-for-profit provider of quality housing for older people, we want to make a positive difference to our customers’ lives.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional and caring person to manage our housing developments within the Aberdeenshire area on a casual basis, covering for holidays and sickness, and will be worked over various early, back and late shift patterns.
You will be a calm and highly efficient multi-tasker, with excellent customer service skills. You will have a range of responsibilities including engaging with our customers, giving them advice and information around their tenancy and making sure they receive the right help from external agencies. You will also log day to day repairs and monitor their progress, liaising with contractors where necessary and carrying out property inspections.
Naturally, empathy with the needs of older people and excellent communication and organisation skills (including IT) are a must. You’ll be dealing with a wide range of people; from residents and their families to contractors, local community groups and other agencies.
