As a leading not-for-profit provider of quality housing for older people, we want to make a positive difference to our customers’ lives. We have an exciting new 7 day per week service beginning in Forres and have a range of opportunities for the right people to help us deliver this service.
We are looking for casual workers to cover staff holidays and absence. Your skills gained in supported or similar services will help you promote clients’ independence and work effectively with clients, relatives and external agencies.
We are seeking skilled and experienced Home Support Assistants to assist in the provision of care, support and housing management services within this new development. You will provide individual advice, practical assistance, direct personal care and emotional support to service users living in their own homes. This post require PVG scheme membership for adults and you will also need to achieve the SVQ Level 3 as required in Health and Social Care or other subject eligible for registration with the SSSC. The Care posts involve shift work over all 7 weekdays and may include waking nights for which additional payment will be made.
For the Catering Assistant role your duties will involve preparation and serving of light meals for the residents. The role also involves domestic and ancillary tasks within the development. You will have the skills for the job, be an effective team member, and sensitive to the needs and independence of our residents. You will preferably hold REHIS food hygiene certification or be prepared to obtain this via our training. The Catering post is subject to a standard criminal records disclosure check.
