Job Description: Development Manager

We now have an opportunity for the right person to manage our sheltered housing developments at Montgomerie Court, Ardrossan and Eglington Court, Saltcoats.
You’ll be a calm and highly efficient multitasker, but excellent customer service will be your top priority. You’ll have a range of responsibilities – including engaging with our customers, giving them advice and information around their tenancy and making sure they receive the right help from external agencies. You’ll also log day to day repairs and monitor their progress – liaising with contractors where necessary – and carrying out property inspections.
Naturally, empathy with the needs of older people and excellent communication and organisation skills (including IT) are a must. You’ll be dealing with a wide range of people; from residents and their families to contractors, local community groups and other agencies – and for many, you’ll be the face of Hanover.
Your working times will be Monday to Friday: 08.00am – 12.00noon and 1.00pm – 4.30pm. You will be paid 30 minutes travelling time and have 30 minutes unpaid break between 12noon and 1pm.
