Job Description: Development Manager
We are recruiting for a Development Manager to provide a high quality housing management service to customers and manage our sheltered housing development at William Turner Court, Knowehead Road, Locharbriggs.
You’ll be a calm and highly efficient multitasker, but excellent customer service will be your top priority. You’ll have a range of responsibilities – including engaging with our customers, giving them advice and information around their tenancy and making sure they receive the right help from external agencies. You’ll also log day to day repairs and monitor their progress – liaising with contractors where necessary – and carrying out property inspections.
Empathy with the needs of older people and excellent communication and organisation skills (including IT) are a must. You’ll be dealing with a wide range of people; from residents and their families to contractors, local community groups and other agencies and for many, you’ll be the face of Hanover.
The hours of work are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8.30 am – 3.00 pm (1/2 hour unpaid lunch)
Thursday & Friday: 9.30 am – 1.00 pm
