Linn Coort is located in the town of Buckie on the north-east coast. The development is located close to the harbour on Linn Avenue and is in close proximity to a supermarket and other shops.
The pedestrian route to facilities and amenities is relatively level. The local bus service is located on Linn Crescent. This bus connects with the terminus for the main routes to Aberdeen and Elgin.
The development has 15 flats in a single story building. There are four one-bedroom flats and 11 studio flats. Heating is provided by electric storage heaters with hot water provided by immersion heaters. There is a residents’ lounge on site as well as a dining room which serves two cooked meals a day, one at lunch time and one in the evening.
Staff are on site at all times with each resident having a named member of staff who is their key worker. They are available daily between 8:00am and 10:00pm with staff on call for emergencies outside of those hours.
