This is an exciting and rare opportunity for someone who has experience of providing high quality personal assistant and executive services at Chief Executive (CE) and Board level in an organisation.

You will take pride in the quality of your work and be very capable of supporting and embracing the work of a progressive CE.

This is a high profile role demanding a proactive approach. You will be a self-starter, will be able to anticipate and act on your own initiative, and will be competent in the range of duties you will be required to undertake.

You will act as an ambassador for the CE, acting as the main point of contact with internal and external customers when the CE is out of the office. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as customer services skills. You will feel comfortable in building and maintaining relationships with all staff and Board members in Hanover and other organisations we work with.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the CE’s day runs smoothly, maintaining a high level of efficiency, dependability and emotional intelligence.

You must be a forward thinker, who is well organised; a highly focused and energetic person who is confident in multi-tasking and dealing with variety and ambiguity.

You will be able to meet tight deadlines and have a high sense of urgency to achieve good quality results.

You will have a keen eye for detail, be a critical thinker and be capable of exercising good analytical skills in research and problem solving, applying good judgement in different situations.

You will possess a high level of integrity, be able to apply sensitivity and maintain discretion and confidentiality.

Hours of work are Monday-Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, but the post-holder must be willing to work outwith these hours, when required.
