Job Description: Head of Asset Management
This new role is an integral member of the Asset Management Department Senior Management team, contributing to establishing, reviewing and achieving the Asset Management objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) by providing leadership for the Asset Management team.
The post holder will take full responsibility for the operational service delivery of all Asset Management maintenance programmes. This will include planned and cyclical maintenance, day to day repairs and voids, servicing and periodic inspections and other compliance programmes.
Supporting the Director of Asset Management in the day to day aspects of achieving high quality delivery of all aspects of housing association property and business planning for the Association’s owned stock and services delivered to owners. The post will also have responsibility for the annual budget process and management of expenditure in the Asset Management department.
The role also requires leading departmental development projects to meet Hanover business needs and for reviewing and improving departmental procedures.
Coordinating the work of the three departmental managers covering planned maintenance, building services and repairs and voids the post holder will require an excellent understanding of Asset Management in the sector. This post’s requirements include a degree, or equivalent qualification or comparable level of experience, excellent leadership skills and relevant managerial experience.
