Job Description: Mobile Support Worker
As a leading not-for-profit provider of quality housing for older people, we want to make a hugely positive difference to our customers’ lives.
Our Support Workers are vital team members and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, professional and caring person to join the team to deliver quality services at our very sheltered housing developments in Renfrew and East Dunbartonshire as required.
You’ll be located in Renfrew and will also be required to cover a Development in East Dunbartonshire if necessary. You’ll focus on ensuring residents can live as independently as they wish in their own homes. You’ll be happy working closely and effectively with clients, relatives and external care delivery agencies. The post involves shift work, including weekends, early, back and sleepover shifts (you’ll receive a payment of £30.58 for each sleepover shift).
You’ll have demonstrable experience, with skills gained in supported or similar services and you’ll also be an excellent communicator and administrator, with at least basic IT skills. Ideally, you’ll also have an SVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) – or be willing to achieve this.
This post requires PVG Scheme membership (adults).
As part of our valued team, you’re also part of the sector’s most forward-thinking organisations that strongly values its staff and customers. We’re Investors in People and Investors in Diversity accredited, and offer a highly competitive benefits package including generous annual leave and a choice of pension scheme.
CVs will not be considered. Please quote reference number above in correspondence.
