Job Description: Sheltered Housing Manager
As a leading not-for-profit provider of quality housing for older people, we want to make a positive difference to our customers’ lives. Our flagship service is our sheltered housing that provides homes for people across Scotland. Delivering a service of such high quality is only possible thanks to our fantastic on-site Development Managers, who enthusiastically and professionally help our residents live as independently as they wish.
We now have an opportunity for the right person to manage our sheltered housing development at Bridge of Dee Court.
You’ll be a calm and highly efficient multitasker, but excellent customer service will be your top priority. You’ll have a range of responsibilities – including engaging with our customers, giving them advice and information around their tenancy and making sure they receive the right help from external agencies.
Naturally, empathy with the needs of older people and excellent communication and organisation skills (including IT) are a must. You’ll be dealing with a wide range of people; from residents and their families to contractors, local community groups and other agencies – and for many, you’ll be the face of Hanover.
You will preferably have SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification or be willing to achieve this.
In return, you’ll be a part of one of the sector’s most forward-thinking organisations that strongly values its staff and customers. We’re Investors in People and Investors in Diversity accredited, and offer a highly competitive benefits package including a choice of pension scheme and generous annual leave.
Your working times will be Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings 0830-1200, and you’ll be required to undertake a standard criminal records disclosure check.
CVs will not be considered. Please quote reference number above in correspondence.
