Job Description: Support Worker

We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional and caring person to provide a housing management and housing support service promoting independent living for older people at Callieburn Court.
Your skills gained in supported or similar services will help you promote clients’ independence and work effectively with clients, relatives and external agencies.
You will also be a capable administrator and have good IT skills and
• SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is desirable. Following the opening of the SSSC registration in September 2017, you will be required to register within 6 months of commencing employment in the post.
• However, if you do not hold the desired qualification of SVQ3, we are committed to supporting you and you must obtain this qualification within 12 months from commencing employment in the post.
This post involves rotational shift work, including weekend working, covering early, back shift and sleepover duties with a sleepover payment of £33.20.
This post requires PVG Scheme membership (adults).
