Weekend Cook (Ref No 100), Orchard Court, Renfrew

Location:  Orchard Court, Orchard Street, Renfrew, PA4 8RZ
Working hours: 16 hours per week
Remuneration: £9.69 per hour

As a leading not-for-profit provider of quality housing for older people, we want to make a hugely positive difference to our customers’ lives. One of our key commitments is to exceed our customers’ expectations and to provide high quality, personalised services that enhances their quality of life.

Your duties will involve the preparation and serving of light meals for residents within this very sheltered housing development.

You will have the ability to cook and serve light meals and to heat and serve pre-prepared food to a high standard. You will work individually (lone working within a kitchen environment) and as part of a staff team. You will be sensitive to the needs and independence of our older residents.

You will hold REHIS elementary food hygiene certification or be prepared to obtain this via our training within 3 months of commencing the role.
