Welcome to Hanover

On 8 November 2019, Arklet completed a merger with Hanover Scotland. We are delighted to be able to welcome former Arklet’s residents to Hanover Scotland and want to thank all Arklet staff and residents for their support during this process.

Over the coming months, we will be taking steps to harmonise our service and business systems. However we would like to reassure you that there will be very little immediate change to the service arrangements as Hanover will continue to provide services through the existing staff team based at the Giffnock office. Your existing tenancy agreement has now transferred to Hanover. This means that you do not have to sign a new tenancy agreement and that your existing rights are protected. You will also continue to receive all the same housing related services.

Tenants will generally be able to make rent payments in the same way for a transitional period following the transfer. Our Finance department will shortly be contacting you to explain these arrangements and any future changes.

Repairs reporting will continue as previously. The Giffnock office is open Monday-Thursday 9-5pm, Fri 9-4pm. During office hours all repairs calls are reported using the office telephone number.

 

Out of hours emergency call:

0800 595 595
When the office is shut if you have a warden call system, pull the cord and this will connect you to Bield Response 24. They will then contact the correct contractor.
