Modern Slavery Statement

The UK Government has set out guidance that organisations, including Charities, must publish an annual statement setting out the steps they take to prevent modern slavery in their business and supply chains. This is a requirement under section 54 (Transparency in Supply Chains) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. The Act recognises that organisations with a turnover of more than £36 million are required to take steps to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in both their business and supply chain.

Below is a link to Hanover’s statement for 2022-23, which has been approved by the Board at their meeting on 24th March 2022 and subsequently signed by our Chief Executive. We will also publish on the UK Government Registry for Modern Slavery Statements. This will be reviewed Annually by our Board in line with our Scheme of Delegation.
