Hanover Scotland are thrilled to announce the launch of its first-ever apprenticeship program, in partnership with QA Learning.
This apprenticeship aims to attract and support young talent from our local communities, offering them a unique opportunity to gain qualifications and invaluable work experience.
“We want to attract and support young people in our communities to work with us. We are so excited to be offering an opportunity to gain a qualification and gain work experience at a really exciting time for our internal IT team.” Says Sarah Steel, Head of HR at Hanover. Sarah also adds that we will have more apprenticeships available in the coming months.
The program represents a significant milestone for Hanover as it extends its commitment to nurturing talent and investing in the future workforce. By joining forces with QA Learning, Hanover is paving the way for aspiring individuals to embark on rewarding careers in the social housing sector.
Hanover is also proud to announce its status as a “Young Person’s Guarantee” employer. The Young Person’s Guarantee is a joint commitment to provide opportunities for all individuals aged 16 to 24 in Scotland, encompassing jobs, apprenticeships, further and higher education, training programs, and volunteering initiatives. This aligns seamlessly with Hanover’s strategic ambition to be recognised as a Great Employer.
