Hanover Scotland Achieves Prestigious Investors in People Gold Accreditation

Hanover is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the Investors in People (IIP) Gold Accreditation, recognising the organisation’s exceptional commitment to supporting, developing, and empowering its people.

The Gold accreditation is a significant achievement, placing Hanover Scotland among the top-performing organisations that demonstrate excellence in leading, supporting, and improving their workforce. Only 28% of organisations assessed by Investors in People reach the Gold standard — a testament to Hanover’s strong culture, leadership, and dedication to continuous improvement.

Sarah Steel, Head of People at Hanover, said:

“We’re absolutely thrilled to receive the Investors in People Gold accreditation. This is a fantastic reflection of our people and the culture we’ve built together. At Hanover, we know that our success depends on our team — their passion, professionalism, and commitment to delivering great outcomes for our residents. This recognition demonstrates how everyone plays a part in making Hanover an outstanding place to work and grow.”

The Investors in People framework assesses how well organisations lead, support, and develop their people. Achieving Gold status means Hanover Scotland has not only met high standards but has gone above and beyond in creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, engaged, and empowered to contribute.

 Sarah added:

“We’re proud of this achievement, but we’re not standing still. We’ll continue to listen, learn, and invest in our people as we work towards our vision of providing high-quality housing and services for older people across Scotland.”

Hanover Scotland would like to thank all colleagues across the organisation for their dedication and contribution in achieving this outstanding recognition.
