A Hanover (Scotland) Housing Association very sheltered development in Renfrewshire has held a party to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Montgomery Court opening.
Tenants and staff gathered to enjoy a special afternoon tea with family and friends to mark the occasion.
Councillor Jim Paterson from Renfrewshire Council, Stephen McCullough, care manager for Hanover, and representatives from St Mirren Cathedral and Martyr Sandyford Church were also in attendance. Cutting the cake was domestic assistant Janine Smith who has worked for Montgomery Court since opening, followed by musical entertainment by ‘Christian’.
Carol Ross, very sheltered housing manager, said: “The festivities were a great opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate 20 years since Montgomery Court opened its doors.
“We were delighted that Councillor Jim Paterson was able to attend and give a speech whilst proud we were able to honour our long-time serving member of the team, Janine, who cut the cake. The residents and staff had a great time.”
