Hanover’s Dementia and Cognitive Impairment Plan – contributing to the National Conversation

Hanover Scotland is into the second year of its Dementia and Cognitive Impairment Strategy, now internally referred to as the Dementia Plan. We have decided to publish this on our website as part of the National Conversation to inform a new dementia strategy in Scotland.

The National Conversation can be accessed on the Scottish Government website.  Hanover has provided a submission and our Dementia Plan forms a part of that.  Hanover also highlighted the recommendations within the Living well at home: Housing and Dementia in Scotland report.

Good quality, properly designed and affordable housing is fundamental for the wellbeing of everyone. Housing needs to be at the centre of the conversation on dementia. Hanover’s Dementia Plan and the Living well at home report support this.
